Romsey Show

The Romsey Show rolls into town once a year and it's one of those proper country events that gives you a real flavour of rural Hampshire and Wiltshire life. You'll see everything from prize cattle and sheep competitions to vintage tractors, craft stalls, and local food vendors - the kind of day out where you can spend a happy afternoon wandering between rings watching livestock judging and chatting to farmers about their prize Herefords.

Timing your visit right is key here. It's an annual fixture, so you'll need to check dates well in advance - typically held in spring or summer. The whole thing has that authentic county show vibe, no corporate gloss, just locals, their animals, and keen competitors.
