Rippon Tor

You'll spot Rippon Tor from miles away - that distinctive rocky summit jutting out of the moorland between South Brent and the heart of Dartmoor. It's a proper Devon viewpoint, the kind where you can stand at the top and feel like you've earned the walk without needing ropes or technical gear.

The climb itself takes maybe twenty minutes from the car park, steep in bursts but straightforward enough.
