Primrose Dog Walking Field, Wragby

A field that exists, basically - open grassland on the edge of Wragby where people take their dogs for a run. It's not going to stop you in your tracks. There's a car park, some pathways, and enough space for a spaniel to burn off energy without bothering the neighbours.

If you're staying at Shortferry Caravan Park, just four miles away, you'll almost certainly find this more useful than thrilling. It's the kind of place you'd visit with the dog while you're staying in the area rather than plan a trip specifically for it. Twenty minutes here, maybe half an hour if you're slower on your feet, and you're done. The field is genuinely open - no fences boxing things in - so if your dog's got a decent recall, they can have a proper stretch.

The walk itself isn't dramatic. Lincolnshire's flat, so don't expect views. What you get is serviceable countryside between Market Rasen and the smaller villages. Good for families with dogs who need a proper off-lead space, and runners who want to bring their pets along. The field's free and appears to have no set hours, though I'd stick to daylight.

Worth it if you're already in the area with a restless spaniel. Drive past it on your way to somewhere more interesting and you might wonder why you bothered stopping. Without a dog, you'd honestly struggle to spend fifteen minutes here and feel like you'd done something worthwhile.
