About Porth Mynawyd
This is one for walkers rather than families with small kids, honestly. There's no fence, no handrails, and the paths get narrow in places. Teenagers who don't mind a bit of exposure will love it though, especially on a windy day when you feel genuinely alive up there. The views stretch right along the coast towards Haverfordwest's hinterland, and you can pick out Newgale Campsite and Newgale Coast Holiday Park down on the beach if you're staying that way.
Allow an hour if you're pottering about and taking photos. It's free, obviously - just rock and sea air. Best visited outside school holidays when the coastal path isn't rammed with day-trippers. The wind can be fierce, so don't go on a day when it's absolutely howling.
If you're based at Pembrokeshire Meadows Camping or any of the sites dotted around Newgale, this makes an excellent afternoon escape. Combine it with a walk along Newgale Beach itself and you've got a proper half-day's activity sorted.
