Poppy’s Dog Park

Access and opening hours aren't entirely clear from their end, so ring ahead before making the journey. Admission might be free or a small fee - typical for these sorts of places. Give yourself 45 minutes to an hour, longer if your dog's the type to investigate every blade of grass.

It slots into a broader Warminster break quite nicely, especially if you're basing yourself at Glamping on the Hill or Hunters Moon. The town itself is unremarkable, but you're close to Longleat if you want something grander. For dog owners though, this beats driving miles to find a decent off-lead space.
