You can't miss it trudging along Bridlington seafront - a full-sized pirate ship sitting on the sand like someone's nicked it from the Caribbean and dumped it on the Yorkshire coast. It's a proper curiosity, this one, and kids absolutely lose their minds at the sight of it. The ship operates as an attraction during peak season, offering a chance to clamber aboard, explore the decks, and let your imagination run wild with tales of the high seas. Adults often find themselves grinning at the audacity of the thing, even if the novelty wears off after twenty minutes or so.

This works best if you've got young children in tow - they'll spend a solid hour pretending to be swashbucklers and hunting for treasure. Teenagers tend to find it a bit daft unless they're genuinely into maritime history or just enjoy climbing around unusual structures.
