People Moover

The People Moover is one of those attractions that stops you mid-walk and makes you think: what on earth is that? It's a landmark sculpture in North Yorkshire that catches plenty of eyes, though frankly, it's more of a curiosity than a destination in itself. You won't spend hours here - more like five minutes taking a photo and reading the plaque if you're bothered about the backstory.

It works best as a detour if you're already out walking in the area. The nearby caravan parks - Black Bull Caravan Park and Westgate Carr Farm are closest, both within a couple of miles - make it easy enough to pop over during a holiday.
