Pasture Plantation

Walk into Pasture Plantation and you're immediately surrounded by proper woodland - the kind where light filters through in shafts and the ground is thick with moss. It's a forest plantation near Keswick, so you're getting managed woodland rather than wild sprawl, but that doesn't make it any less atmospheric.

The trees here create a decent network of paths for wandering, and it's the sort of place where an hour disappears without you noticing.
