The brewery sits right on Padstow's doorstep, which is both brilliant and a bit of a trap if you're not careful - you'll end up spending longer here than planned. It's a working operation, not some theme park version of beer-making, so expect to see actual fermentation tanks and proper production happening. They do tours and tastings, which is where the fun happens. You get to try their core range and seasonal specials, and the staff actually know their stuff rather than just reading from a script.

It's ideal if you're staying at Padstow Holiday Village or Dennis Cove Campsite - you're literally a ten-minute walk away. Worth noting that it's an adults' thing primarily. Kids might find it dull after twenty minutes, unless they're into the science side of how beer gets made. Most people allow an hour or so, including a tasting or two.

Check their website before you go because opening times aren't fixed, and tours need booking. It's the kind of place that fits perfectly into a longer Padstow day - grab breakfast at one of the harbour cafes, do the brewery mid-morning when you're fresh, then head to the beach or explore the coastal path. If you're based at one of the further parks like Sun Haven or The Laurels, it's worth the drive if you're after something beyond typical holiday park entertainment. Just don't expect beer at holiday park prices.
