History enthusiasts will appreciate the layout best - you can still trace the outline of the gatehouse walls and imagine medieval pilgrims passing through. The earthworks are quite well preserved, though there's not much standing masonry to speak of. It's one of those places where you need to use your imagination a fair bit.

Families might find it a bit sparse unless the kids are properly into castles and ruins. Twenty minutes is probably enough to take it all in and read any interpretation boards. Best combined with a visit to the main abbey in Pershore town centre, which is far more impressive.
