Nipstone Rock

There's no visitor centre, no café, no infrastructure - it's just you, the landscape, and increasingly decent views as you climb. Getting there is straightforward from any of the caravan parks within a few miles - Green Caravan Park and Brow Farm Campsite are closest, though genuinely, anywhere around Bishops Castle puts you within reasonable driving distance. Spring and early autumn offer the best conditions for walking, though the exposed ridge can get proper windy any time of year. Allow a couple of hours including the climb and a breather at the top.
