National Trust - Lizard Rangers

The Lizard Rangers are a volunteer-led conservation team working across one of Cornwall's most dramatic stretches of coastline, just outside Helston. You won't find a visitor centre or formal admission - this is proper grassroots National Trust work, focused on protecting the Lizard Peninsula's rare heathland and coastal habitats.

Walking the clifftop paths and heathland trails, you're treading ground these rangers have actively restored - removing invasive species, rebuilding dry stone walls, managing grazing to keep the heath open.
