The Elim Church itself is fairly modest compared to some of the medieval timber-framed gems dotting the town, but what makes it worth a look is the Olive Grove Conference Centre attached to it - a proper community space that hosts everything from local events to visiting speakers and worship gatherings.

It's the sort of place you'll walk past rather than make a special journey for, unless you're the type who enjoys exploring the religious architecture that shaped Victorian and Edwardian towns. The building itself is straightforward, functional architecture - no soaring arches or stained glass to lose yourself in. That said, there's something honest about it. Many touring caravan sites sit within a mile or two - The Willows is the closest at just 1.3 miles - so if you're staying at one and fancy a gentle walk into Nantwich proper, the church sits right there as part of the town's fabric.

The church works better as part of a broader wander than as a destination in its own right.
