The ruins of Muckersie Church sit quietly in Perthshire countryside, a few miles from Perth - the sort of place you'd stumble upon by accident while exploring backroads rather than somewhere you'd plan a day around. What remains are the foundations and fragments of a medieval church, worn smooth by centuries of Scottish weather. It's genuinely atmospheric if you're into that sort of thing, but brutally honest - there's not much left to get excited about unless you're a proper archaeology enthusiast or local history type.
