Moonhills Copse

Walk into Moonhills Copse and you're immediately swallowed by proper woodland - the kind with old oaks, dense undergrowth, and enough peace to actually hear yourself think. It's a forest walk near Brockenhurst, nothing flashy, just genuine Hampshire woodland that feels like it's been left alone for centuries.

What you get here depends entirely on what you bring. Serious walkers will enjoy threading through the trees, picking out paths that wind deeper into the copse. Both give you easy access to the New Forest's network of walks, which means Moonhills Copse fits nicely into a broader forest exploration rather than as a standalone destination. It's worth an afternoon while you're in the area, not worth driving an hour specifically to visit.
