You'll get the most from this if you're a keen golfer staying at one of the nearby holiday parks - Parkdean Resorts Ty Mawr is just down the road, making it easy to slip away for a morning round. The views across the Conwy area are decent rather than spectacular, but they're there, and on a clear day you can see enough of the coast to remind you why North Wales is worth a visit. Beginners might find it a touch demanding in places, but intermediate players will have a satisfying day.

The real win is the proximity to other things - you're not marooned at a golf course with nothing else to do.
