Meall an t-Slamain

The walk up Meall an t-Slamain is deceptively straightforward - it's one of those Scottish hills that doesn't announce itself loudly, which is precisely why it's worth doing. You're looking at a modest peak near Fort William that rewards you with proper views across Glen Nevis without the queues you'll find on Ben Nevis itself, just three miles south.

The ascent takes roughly two to three hours depending on your fitness and how often you stop to catch your breath.
