You'll want to allow an hour for a gentle circuit, maybe two if you're the type to linger and take photographs. It's free to visit - no gates, no visitor centre, just access as you would any moorland spot. The nearest proper facilities are in Omagh, so bring what you need.

This works well as an add-on if you're staying at Gortin Glen Glamping just down the road. That's a far more curated experience, all hot tubs and shepherd's huts, but Loughakinlora offers something rawer - a chance to walk on actual bog rather than manicured paths.
