Llwyn Dafydd-Goch

Getting to the summit of Llwyn Dafydd-Goch is straightforward enough, though 'straightforward' does rather depend on your fitness level and how much you fancy a proper leg-stretcher through Mid Wales moorland. The peak itself sits in Powys, just a short drive from Llanymynech, and rewards walkers with sweeping views across the rolling landscape - nothing dramatic, but genuinely worth the effort on a clear day.

The walk itself is the main event here. You're looking at a moderate hike that takes anything from ninety minutes to two hours depending on your pace, with the terrain ranging from obvious paths to rougher ground where you'll need to pick your way through bracken and heather.
