Little Tor

Scrambling up the limestone outcrop takes about 20 minutes from the car park, but the panoramic sweep across Three Cliffs Bay makes every puff worth it. Little Tor sits above one of Gower's most photographed beaches, giving you the perfect vantage point to appreciate why this stretch of coastline draws so many admirers.

The climb isn't particularly taxing - most reasonably fit adults will manage it easily, though the final scramble over rocks might put off anyone with mobility issues. Kids love the adventure of picking their way between the limestone blocks, and the views keep them motivated.

From the top, you can see right across to Oxwich Bay on clear days, with the famous three limestone stacks of Three Cliffs Bay spread out directly below. The contrast between the golden sand, emerald sea and rolling farmland is properly spectacular - definitely bring a camera.

Best visited in the early morning or late afternoon when the light catches the cliffs just right. The walk takes about an hour round trip if you're not hanging about, though most people linger longer to soak up the scenery. Free to access year-round, though the path can get muddy after rain.
