Lavenham Children’s Park

The woodland paths around Lavenham pull you in before you've quite realised what's happened. This nature reserve sits just outside the village, a proper Suffolk spot where the trees thicken and the world gets quieter. Older kids might find it a bit limited unless they're genuinely keen on nature spotting. The walking is gentle, suitable for pushchairs and small legs, though the paths can be muddy after rain.

Bury Saint Edmunds is the nearest town if you need supplies or a coffee afterwards. The reserve itself appears to be free, though it's worth checking ahead as opening hours and facilities can be variable for these smaller reserves.
