It's exactly what it sounds like - a proper community library that happens to house coin-operated laundry equipment, making it rather useful if you're staying at one of the nearby holiday parks without washing facilities.

Families camping at Haven Marton Mere Holiday Village or the other parks within walking distance will find this arrangement brilliant. Parents can sort the washing while kids browse the children's section or use the free Wi-Fi. The opening hours are a bit patchy though - closed Wednesdays and only mornings on Monday and Tuesday.

Don't expect a massive collection, but it covers the basics with novels, local interest books, and children's stories. The real draw is the convenience factor. You can tackle a week's worth of holiday washing while catching up on reading or letting the kids burn off energy browsing.

Location-wise, it sits in the Marton area of Blackpool, well away from the seafront chaos. It's definitely more functional than exciting, but if you're staying at Pikers Height or any of the Marton-area parks, it could save a trip into central Blackpool just for laundry. Worth knowing about rather than seeking out specifically.
