Land of the Tiger sits within Chessington World of Adventures, so you're looking at a full day commitment rather than a quick pit stop. The park's tiger-themed section is essentially a collection of rides and attractions centred around big cats - nothing groundbreaking in terms of theming, but it does what it says on the tin. You'll find yourself queuing for coasters, spinning rides, and a few family-friendly attractions that lean into the jungle aesthetic, though frankly the tigers themselves are largely absent from the actual experience.

This works best for families with kids aged 5-14 who still get a kick out of theme park rides without needing the intellectual stimulation of anything particularly clever. Parents will spend a good chunk of time watching from benches. The whole park operation is fairly tired compared to the Merlin parks down south, but admission is included if you're already staying at Chessington World of Adventures Resort, which makes financial sense.

Allow a full day minimum - you'll queue more than you'd like, especially in school holidays. Spring and autumn weekdays are your best bet for actually riding things without losing your mind. The resort itself is your strongest option if you're making this the centrepiece of a family break, though Walton on Thames Camping and Caravanning Club Site offers a more traditional base if you'd rather escape the theme park infrastructure entirely. Norbury Park, further out, gives you proper countryside if the rides feel like overkill.
