Kinmel Bay Evangelical Church

But that's the point - it's worth a five-minute detour if you're already at the seafront, not a standalone destination. The location, though, is what makes it work: bang on the coast between two solid holiday parks like The Beach Caravan Park and Bron-y-Wendon, so if you're based at either for a week, popping over to Kinmel Bay for a coastal walk past the church makes sense.

Walkers and architecture enthusiasts will appreciate the context - it marks a shift from the Victorian boom town energy just across the way in Rhyl. There's no visitor centre, no interpretive panels. Just a proper old church doing what it's done for 150 years. That's either refreshing or underwhelming, depending what you're after.
