Historically minded visitors will appreciate that you're walking along preserved infrastructure - the bones of the old Kenilworth to Leamington Spa railway line. It's low-key heritage, not flashy, but there's something satisfying about following a route that's been in use for over a century.

If you're camping at Mousley House Farm nearby (just 5 miles away), this is a decent alternative to a car-dependent day. Same with Warwick Racecourse Campsite. You get proper outdoor time without needing to drive somewhere else. The entrance is free, which helps. Go midweek if you can - weekends bring the usual parade of dog walkers and joggers, but that's honestly fine. The path's wide enough.
