Horton Library keeps weekday hours (8am to 5pm Monday through Friday), so plan around that if you're timing a visit. It's the kind of place where you'd pop in to use the computers, grab a book, or simply escape a grey afternoon with a cup of tea and whatever's on the shelves. Not a destination in itself, but a genuine community facility worth knowing about if you're camping locally. The staff are usually helpful, and it has that slightly worn, lived-in feel of a proper local library rather than a corporate chain. If you've got teenagers who need to research something or younger kids who'll spend twenty minutes enthralled by the children's section, it's free and at least keeps everyone occupied for a bit. Worth a visit during a week-long park stay, less essential if you're only passing through for a long weekend. Oxford is a short drive away if you want something more substantial - cathedral, colleges, the whole works.
