Horsfall Community Stadium is where local football matters - it's a working ground that serves the community rather than pulling in Premier League crowds, and that's exactly what makes it interesting. You'll see proper grassroots football here, the sort where supporters actually know the players' names and the pie at half-time is genuinely hot.

It's mainly useful if you're catching a match or if your kids play football and want to see a real stadium with actual turnstiles and a proper pitch. Non-match days it's just a stadium, which isn't exactly thrilling unless you're after a photo of the floodlights. The ground has a working-class charm to it - no corporate sheen, no pretension.

If you're staying at Two Acre Camping just down the road (3.3 miles away), you could easily pop over on match day. It's that close. Elland Hall Farm Caravan Park is a bit further at 5.6 miles, but still manageable if there's a weekend fixture on. Both sites give you the sort of base where you can explore Bradford's textile heritage, grab a decent curry, and then catch some grassroots football without it feeling forced.

Worth the visit? Only if there's a match on and you fancy proper community football. Otherwise save your afternoon for something with more to do.
