Hooten Wheals (Mine dis)

The tin workings at Hooten Wheals sit quietly on the moorland above South Brent, and honestly, they're easy to walk past without realising what you're looking at. Walkers will get far more from this than casual visitors. The site sits on the edge of Dartmoor, so it works brilliantly as a detour on a longer moorland ramble from South Brent. Bring a decent pair of boots - the ground is boggy in places, and the paths aren't manicured.
