The golf course at Hoddom Castle sits on proper grounds near Lockerbie, where the fairways roll across land that's been worked for centuries. It's a nine-hole layout - nothing fancy, but that's rather the point. You get a genuine Scottish round without the trophy hunting or the four-hour queues of the big championship courses.
