You're walking beneath a canopy thick enough to change the light, threading between trunks that have been growing here for decades, with the occasional clearing where the sun actually reaches the bracken.

This is the kind of place where walkers actually want to spend time. No manicured paths or information boards trying to explain what a tree is - just forest, functioning as it should. The trails wind deeper and deeper until you lose sense of the nearby roads entirely.
