Hedgecock Hill

The walk up Hedgecock Hill from Crewkerne takes you through proper Somerset countryside - rolling fields, the odd farm gate, and gradually widening views as you climb. It's not dramatic or particularly high, but that's rather the point. You get that satisfying moment when the landscape suddenly opens out and you can see right across the Blackdown Hills towards Devon. Takes about forty minutes up from town depending on your pace and how often you stop to catch your breath.
