Hawk Stone

The Hawk Stone sits just outside Chipping Norton, a modest Bronze Age standing stone that's been watching over the Oxfordshire landscape for roughly 4,000 years. The broader area around Chipping Norton has plenty to keep a holiday interesting, but Hawk Stone itself works best as part of a walking route rather than a destination you'd drive for specially. That said, if you're in the region and passing through, ten minutes of your time is a small price to pay for some genuine Bronze Age connection.
