Harlestone Heath

The heath spreads out like something from a Victorian painting - open grassland dotted with gorse and heather, rolling gently toward the horizon just a few miles outside Northampton. Pair it with Northampton itself on a rainy afternoon and you've got a solid day sorted. Don't expect thrills - expect fresh air and decent walking in genuine countryside.
