The reserve sits right on the edge of town, making it ideal for a quick leg-stretch or a proper hour's ramble depending on your mood.

You'll find woodland paths that wind through native trees, open grassland where wildflowers take over come spring, and the kind of quiet that's rare this close to urban Northamptonshire. It's genuinely good for spotting birds and insects if you're into that sort of thing.
