This spot in Lincolnshire marks where the Prime Meridian actually passes through - not Greenwich in London, but out here in the Fens. It's a modest affair, to be honest. You get a marker, a bit of ground, the knowledge that this line of longitude divides east from west globally. For geography enthusiasts and kids learning about maps at school, it's genuinely interesting. Adults often find it underwhelming unless they're seriously into their meridians.

The nearest proper town is Horncastle, about four miles away, which gives you somewhere decent to grab a coffee or lunch after. It's dead easy to combine with a Lincolnshire holiday - the area's got plenty of open countryside and the Fens have their own quiet appeal.
