GreenAcres Chiltern Park

The Chilterns around Beaconsfield are proper walking country, and GreenAcres does what it does without fuss - it's a nature reserve where you can actually spend time outdoors rather than queue for attractions. The woodland here is the thing. Ancient beeches, chalky paths that crunch underfoot, the sort of place where you notice how quiet it gets once you're ten minutes in from the car park.
