Watlington sits closest by, a modest market town that serves as your practical base for supplies. If you're staying at White Mark Glamping just down the road, or heading to Lashlake Barn further out, this is an excellent excuse for a morning walk. The Chilterns really do reward the effort - this viewpoint especially so on clear mornings before the haze sets in.

Walkers will get the most from it. Families with older kids, yes. Anyone after an easy drive-by photo stop, probably not worth the detour. It's free, it's always open, and there's nothing to book. Just turn up, climb, and breathe in the view.
