Goodaver stone circle

Standing in a field near Launceston, Goodaver stone circle is one of those proper Cornish archaeological sites that feels genuinely lost in time. Four stones remain upright, arranged in what was clearly once a complete circle - Bronze Age work, probably around 3,500 years old. The stones themselves aren't enormous, which somehow makes them more intimate than the famous circles you'll find elsewhere.
