The clue's in the name at Goat Walk near Bewdley - you're here to walk alongside goats, and they're considerably more entertaining than you'd expect. It's a proper hands-on affair, the kind of place where children actually remember what they did rather than just scrolling through photos three weeks later. The goats are friendly enough to approach, and there's genuine interaction rather than gawping at creatures behind fences.

Families with young kids will get the most from it. Toddlers love the novelty of feeding and touching animals at close range, and it keeps their attention for a good hour or so. Older children might tire quicker unless they're genuinely into animals. Adults tend to find it charming rather than gripping - it's not a day-long attraction, more of a morning activity to slot into something bigger.

Blackstone Meadow and Hopleys are similarly close for a casual visit.

The Bewdley area itself offers more substantial attractions if you need padding for a full day - the river walks and the town centre warrant exploring. But Goat Walk is best treated as what it is: a quick, straightforward animal encounter, not a destination in itself.
