It's straightforward stuff - walk down, have a look at the boats, maybe chat to someone working on them if you're lucky. The appeal here is watching real activity rather than touring a museum. It's less a "destination" and more a 15-minute detour if you're already in Gairloch. Worth the walk if the light's good and the boats are busy; less compelling on a grey day with nothing moving.
