Glamping with Llamas in Norfolk/Cambs

This is glamping done with actual personality, set on farmland between Wisbech and the Cambridgeshire countryside where the landscape rolls on endlessly and you can actually hear yourself think.

You're staying in canvas bell tents or shepherd's huts, the sort of setup that feels like camping but with actual beds and heating. The llamas are the main draw - you can feed them, walk with them, photograph them doing their slightly ridiculous llama things. Kids will be occupied for hours. Adults who've had their fill of traditional caravan parks will appreciate the novelty without it feeling forced.

Wisbech itself is a proper Fenland market town with some decent Georgian architecture and a reasonable high street if you need supplies, though honestly you're here for the animals and the slow pace rather than local attractions. The location works well if you're combining it with Parklands Holidays just down the road - you could easily do a week mixing this with more conventional camping.

Timing-wise, spring and autumn are best - summer gets warm in the tents, winter can be muddy. Allow a full day minimum to settle in and actually engage with the llamas rather than just passing through. It's not cheap, but it's a genuine departure from the usual Norfolk holiday routine.
