The Garioch Heritage Centre sits just outside Inverurie and tells the story of this corner of Aberdeenshire with the kind of local detail you won't find in guidebooks. The location makes it a logical stop rather than a destination in itself - worth the detour if you're in the region, but don't rearrange your itinerary specifically for it.
