Gallow Hill

The climb up Gallow Hill rewards you with views across Stirling that make the huffing and puffing worthwhile. It's a proper hill walk rather than a casual stroll - steep in places, but nothing that demands mountaineering boots. The summit gives you sight lines over the town itself, with the castle dominating the landscape like it owns the place, which, historically speaking, it sort of did.
