Walking into Fused and Light near Newtonmore, you're confronted with contemporary glass and light installations that feel unexpectedly bold for the Scottish Highlands. It's a gallery space that takes itself seriously - the kind of place where you either instantly get what the artist is doing or you spend twenty minutes wondering if you're missing something obvious.

The work here centres on fused glass pieces and light-based installations. If you're into that sort of thing - and I mean genuinely into it, not just looking for something to do on a rainy afternoon - there's proper craft on display.
