Forest Copse

Walking into Forest Copse feels like stepping properly off the beaten track, even though it's barely ten minutes from Alresford town centre. This is genuine woodland - a mix of mature beech and oak with enough undergrowth to feel wild without being impenetrable. The paths wind through naturally, and on a quiet morning you'll have the place largely to yourself.

It's the kind of spot that rewards a slow wander rather than a purposeful stride.
