This is where the town gets its green spaces sorted - think manicured beds, riverside walks, and the kind of spot where you can actually sit down without feeling rushed. The gardens run along the water's edge, giving you decent views of the estuary and, on a clear day, the mountains beyond. It's the sort of place that works whether you're after a twenty-minute stroll or settling in with a book for an hour.

Families with younger kids will get some value out of it - there's enough space to let them run about, and the water views keep things interesting. Walkers passing through Conwy will appreciate it as a natural break between the castle and the quays. History buffs might find the setting itself more rewarding than any specific attractions, since this is fundamentally a park rather than a monument.

The big question is whether it's worth a dedicated trip from the nearby holiday parks. Golden Sands is about 4.5 miles away, and Parkdean's Ty Mawr sits 5.6 miles out. If you're staying at either, it's absolutely worth an afternoon visit when you're exploring Conwy proper - combine it with the castle or a wander through town and you've got a solid half-day sorted. Rhyl itself is your nearest larger town if you need facilities. Expect to spend forty minutes to an hour here unless you're really lingering, and go when the light's decent - the water makes it feel proper atmospheric in late afternoon.
