Doles Plantation

The woodland at Doles Plantation sits just outside Great Yarmouth, offering a proper escape from the seafront crowds. It's a working forest rather than a manicured tourist attraction - mature trees, open glades, and paths that wind through the kind of Norfolk countryside that feels a world away from the arcade games and chip shops of town.

What you get here is straightforward: woodland walking. The paths are manageable, never too taxing, and you'll spot birds if you're quiet enough.
