The paths wind through dense stands of mixed trees, and on a quiet morning you'll hear nothing but birdsong and the occasional crack of a branch underfoot. It's not dramatic scenery - no views, no water features, just straightforward woodland that does what good woodland does: clears your head. The spinney itself is substantial enough for a proper walk without feeling endless, and you can easily spend an hour or two threading through without getting lost or bored.
