The walk up Craig of Inchnabobart rewards you with views across Deeside that make the 45-minute slog entirely worth it. From Ballater, you're looking at a proper hill rather than a gentle stroll - it's steep enough that you'll feel it in your thighs, but nothing technical or dangerous.
