Cotswold Gate Meadow

The meadow sprawls across a gentle slope just outside Moreton-in-Marsh, the kind of place that doesn't announce itself loudly but rewards a quiet morning walk. Cotswold Gate Meadow is a proper nature reserve - grassland managed for wildflowers and the insects that depend on them, with gentle paths that let you move through without trampling the lot.

What you get here is straightforward: open space, birdsong, and the chance to actually see what a meadow looks like when it's left to do its thing. Spring brings carpets of cowslips and orchids. Summer's alive with butterflies and bees. Walkers will find it fits nicely into a longer ramble around the area.
